Beulah Barron

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Beulah Barron on August 23, 2023 at the age of 91 years.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children: Murray (Loren) Barron, Nancy (Jack) Durham and Jan (Arnie) Rosenfeldt. Grandchildren: Joel (Tricia) Durham, Jeff (Kim) Durham, Jaclyn MacIver (Kevin Shmyr), Dustin Rosenfeldt, Danielle (Tyler) Moss & Scott Barron. Great Grandchildren: Mykah Pattison, Mackenzie Cameron, Oakley Durham, Jordan Durham, Spencer Durham, Jackson MacIver, Hunter MacIver, Nixon MacIver, & Isla Moss. Sister-in-law: Fay Coben. As well as numerous relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her loving husband Jim in 2015.

Mom was born in Delisle, SK and spent most of her years in Outlook, SK where she met Dad while they were working at Reid Motors. Mom spent her working years in various office administration positions in Outlook, Saskatoon & Warman. She was very involved in her community with the local Kinette Club, Legion & Eastern Star. Camping was also a joy of Mom’s spending a lot of weekends at Diefenbaker Lake & Pike Lake. Mom, we won’t forget some of the epic family vacations in the station wagon and the tent. When they retired Mom & Dad spent many winters in Yuma, Arizona.

Mom loved to knit & crochet and we all have gifts that she made. She was an avid curler and Blue Jays baseball fan. Playing cards & family gatherings were also revered times for Mom. She also loved to sing and although she was dealing with dementia in her final years, she never seemed to forget the words to her favorite songs apparently often correcting the staff at her nursing home when they got it wrong.

We would like to thank the Sisters & Staff at St. Joseph’s Home for the wonderful care Mom received in her final years. It was truly a blessing when she was placed there.

At Mom’s request there will be no Funeral Service.  A private family celebration will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers the family requests considering a donation in her name to St. Joseph’s Home (33 Valens Drive, Saskatoon, SK,  S7L 3S2)
