With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the sudden passing of Bernard Edward Krueckl on June 1, 2026 in Martensville, Saskatchewan at the age of 82 years.

He leaves behind the love of his life and devoted wife of 59 years, Marlene Krueckl (nee McDougall), with whom he built a life filled with love, laughter, adventure, and unwavering commitment; his children, Bernene (Dave) Cohen, Steven (Tammy) Krueckl, Jason (Teressa) Krueckl, David (Kerri) Krueckl; nine grandchildren, Tyler, Daniel & Rebecca Cohen, Maxwell, Emily, Jacob, Megan, Ella & George Krueckl; and six great grand children, Abby, Ethan, Nellie, Henry, William and Georgie. All of whom brought him immense pride and joy. Also left to mourn his passing are brothers, Bob Krueckl, Peter (Marion) Krueckl and Stanley Krueckl; sisters-in-law Shirley Krueckl and Val Bann; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bernie was predeceased by his parents, George and Helen Krueckl; his brothers George, Edward, and Walter Krueckl; and his brother-in-law Ray Bann. 

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the first responders whose professionalism, compassion, and kindness brought comfort during a difficult time. Their care, dignity, and support will always be remembered and deeply appreciated.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share a story, perform an act of kindness, or spend time with a loved one in his memory.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Details will be announced and shared with family and friends when arrangements have been finalized.

Though his presence will be profoundly missed, the memories, laughter, and love will remain in our hearts forever.
