Aline Gisele Dubois peacefully left us on December 7, 2025, after a brief battle with illness. She was surrounded by loved ones at her home in Martensville, SK.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Dubois, and leaves to cherish her memory her children: Claudette (Shawn), Jim (Sharien), Trish, and Tina (Chris); her 9 grandchildren — Danielle, Stephanie, Maxim, Dillon, Natasha, Jamie, Mathew, Eric, and Sophie — and of course their families, including 8 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son Eric, and we believe in our hearts she is now reunited with him.
Aline was born in Saint-Lambert, Québec, on December 17, 1941, to her parents Lucien and Gilberte Beland. Among 5 siblings altogether, she carried many fond memories of childhood that she often spoke of.
She had a long career in waitressing and took great pride in her work. Aline was known for being organized, dependable, and always “on the ball.” She enjoyed knitting and baking, but most of all Mom loved to laugh. She loved telling stories from her childhood and could often be found laughing on the phone with her sisters.
Aline was a wonderful grandmother who, although away for some, made a lasting impact on the kids’ lives and will always be in their hearts. Her lifelong partner in crime will always be Sophie. She was known for her sharp wit, her quick comebacks, and her remarkable ability to remember even the smallest details.
In lieu of donations or flowers, Mom would want you to spend that on yourselves.
Cherished Memories is honoured to be entrusted with the care and arrangements for Aline Dubois.
