Albert Blair Young

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Blair Young on July 20, 2025.

Blair is survived by his beloved wife, Tracy; his sons, Anthony and Cameron; his brother and sisters; and his granddaughter, Kendra.  He will also be lovingly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

Blair had a deep passion for riding his motorcycle and driving his antique cars—especially his cherished 1968 GTX, which earned him numerous trophies over the years. He found great joy in attending car shows with his son, Anthony.

A heartfelt thank you to our nephew, Nathan, for staying with us at St. Paul’s Palliative Care Unit during Blair’s final four days.  We are also deeply grateful to the staff at St. Paul’s Palliative Care Unit for their compassionate and loving care.

A Celebration of Life for Blair Young will be held on Saturday, August 9th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Kinley Hall in Kinley, Saskatchewan.  There will be an open mic for those who wish to share memories, and lunch will be served.  Following the celebration, the interment will take place at Crocus Vale Cemetery.
